We woke up this morning to a little surprise "visitor" in our driveway! A cute little black & white kitten. The kids went NUTS over this little kitten and begged to keep it! I am highly allergic to cats (along with any other creature that has four legs and breathes) and I do not have a very good track record with pets, they have all ran away or died unexpectedly, but I told them as long as the kitten stayed outside, we could keep it!! In just the past 24 hours this kitten has brought so much fun into our house, as if we really needed anymore...lol! We named it Sylvester, because it looks like Sylvester the cat, Kam keeps calling her Angel Cakes though...lol....I'm sure we will have plenty more updates about Sylvester!

Lets hear it for some fun times in ATL!! For Christmas, my sweet husband bought me NKOTB BSB tickets!! I was so excited!! The concert was in ATL, so we drove up the night before the concert and brought Kam and Mad along! We took the kids to The Varsity and then their 1st ever Braves games the afternoon of the concert. They had a blast! Maddox was in AHhhh of the field and the stadium! It was so fun just to see his face light up! Afterwards, the kids stayed at our friends, The Blairs, house while we went and enjoyed the concert! The concert ROCKED!! It was soooo much fun!! If you haven't already noticed....Terry and I do almost everything together....I think because we truly enjoy each others company and I couldn't think of anyone else I would rather share almost every minute of my life with! He's truly my best friend! Although he isnt a huge fan of either group, he went because "He wanted to see my smile!" We drank, danced and sang the entire concert and our bottoms never touched our seats!! It was an awesome day for Team Eady...Bryant decided he wanted to stay back at home with PawPaw and Donna, so he got to enjoy some one on one time with them, he had a great time too, but I think we all missed him and little more than he missed up :)

I must say I have been blessed with some amazing men in my life! I have a wonderful father a great brother and an amazing husband, all who are GREAT Men and Fathers!! At our house, birthdays, Mother's Day and Fathers day have a BIG tradition and that is BREAKFAST in BED! Everyone gets together to surprise the lucky person with a great breakfast.....I asked the kids what they thought dad would want and they all agreed that Krispy Kreme donuts was perfect! Maddox got into character and delivered the donuts with the Hat and Fan! Terry loved it and then we all joined Terry for breakfast in bed! We then went to my Dad's to see him, Terry's Dad's to see him and we finished off the afternoon with an evening at the Bay Bears Game! It was the perfect way to spend fathers day and we all enjoyed it!!

One of my oldest, dearest friends celebrated her 30th Birthday this week and in true Lori form, she wanted to go to Waterville in Gulf Shores for her birthday. When we were younger, Lori always had her bday parties at Waterville every year!! Waterville is a fun waterpark not far from our house, maybe 30 minutes. What used to be 8 teenage girls that used to go, we now had 5 grown girls with their families! We

had a great time and the best part is that we were all there sharing the experience with our kids, one that we all looked so forward to soooo many years ago! The crazy part is I still felt like that same teenage girl playing in the waterpark, going down slides and relaxing in the lazy river! Funny how your mind plays tricks on you....lol!! We all had such a great time, that we are planning on going back again before the summer is out! ONE very cool thing though......I got this new waterproof, freeze proof, shock proof digital camera and I must say I LOVE it!! We had a great time taking pictures underwater and Kam and I even video'd ourselves going down some of the slides....talk about a cool new toy!!!

10 years in the making!!

We DID IT! We made it to 10 years of marriage!! I know that we broke a lot of bets, lasting this long...LOL....especially since I was just one month shy of being a teenager when I said "I do!" It wasn't easy, being 20 years old, a college student working 2 jobs and living pay check to pay check, but we were "In Love" and determine to make it work despite all the odds against us! We didn't have much but we vowed "For Better or Worse, In Richness or Poorness, In sickness and in health for as long as we both shall live!" Little did we know the challenges and obstacles we would face to make it this far! It would have been easy to call it quites when times got rough (and boy have they), but we both hung in there and toughed out the hard times which ultimately made us stronger and appreciate all the good ones. Now, 10 years later, we have 3 beautiful children, a successful business and a love for each other that words cannot describe! My husband is my absolute best friend and my soul mate. I know it sounds cheesy, but I truly believe that God really does make someone for everyone I feel truly blessed to have found my "one" at such a young age. I always knew that Terry was the one for me. I could never imagine my life without him. I thank God every night for him and the man he has become. We decided a few years ago that we wanted to renew our vows on our 10 year anniversary, to show each other how much more we love and appreciate each other as the years have gone by. We did it at our hotel on the beach in Costa Rica. We did it at Sunset with our friends Brant and Tiffany as our witnesses....it was beautiful and something I will never forget!! With age definitely comes maturity and I know we have both grown so much as a couple over the last few years. We are both very different people than we were 10 years ago, but the most important part is that we have grown TOGETHER and not apart and we have learned to accept each other for the good and the bad.....even though we are opposites on so many things, one thing is for sure, we can't wait to celebrate 10 more!!

Pura Vida Costa Rica!!

To say we had a great time in Costa Rica would be an understatement!! It was an awesome country with so much to offer and we had the best time! I would say this vacation was definitely one of my most favorites ever! We had an action packed trip while we were there! We went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with our "international" partners in crime...The Jagels! Last year we all cruised to Bahamas together, so this year we decided to go to Costa Rica. Here is how the trip went:

We flew down there on a Wednesday and stayed our 1st night in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. The next am we got up to go White Water Rafting in the Pacuare River. It was about a 2 hour drive from San Jose....everything in Costa Rica is a "short drive" but usually takes about 2-4 hours to get there....but the view is great so you really don't mind! We white water rafted down the Pacuare River where we experienced level 1-6 rapids....YIKES, but it was a BLAST and we found out about this awesome resort called the Pacare Lodge, that is a MUST STAY next time we come back!! After that we went to La Furtuna and stayed the night there in private bungalows at the foot of the Arenal Volcano! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The next day, we went zip lining in the rain forest and there we saw it ALL! It was truly breathtaking!!! After zip lining, we left and went to Tamarindo where we stayed on the beach at the Tamarindo Diria. It was beautiful!! There, we surfed, had massages on the beach, went deep sea fishing, sailed on a sunset set cruise and went snorkeling! It was amazing!!! The people of Costa Rica were wonderful and couldn't be more happy to have us "Greengo's" visiting their country! The food there was delicious and I loved it! Terry and I want to go back ASAP!!! While we were there we also renewed our vows for our 10 year wedding anniversary, but thats another post with over 50 pictures...coming next!! I dont think there was a single thing I would change about our vacation, expect maybe to stay a little longer, but there's always next time!!

A Little Rain Can't Stop Her Shine!

So I always told myself I would never be one of "those Mom's!" We all know the Mom's who obsess of their children and live their failed childhood dreams through the lives of their poor children who have little or no interest in the task ahead of them....well I would not quite categorize myself as one of "those Mom's" but I am getting a little better understanding for why "those Mom's" choose to poor all their heart, soul, time and energy into their little ones!! As my sweet Kamden gets older, shes the ripe old age of 6, I am beginning to realize just how much time and effort goes into helping your children achieve their goals and ultimately dreams. Kamden is just like me in so many ways, but then again, so different. Unlike me, not only does she dream in her head, she also dreams OUT LOUD!! The day of her recital this year it poured down raining and our power went out, 2 hours before her show, I was panicked, she was calm. She was ready, I was NOT! This year was her 3rd dance recital, she wanted to do 4 dances this year, against my wishes (and my budget for a 5 year old) Terry and I agreed to let her give it a try after months of begging! She enjoyed going to practice 2 days a week and really took on the challenge of learning 4 routines this season. She really LOVED acero/tumbling and really tried HARD to learn new moves this season. After months of practicing, she finally nailed her 1 handed cart-wheel and roundoff!! I know it seems pretty small, but to a 5 year old, this is BIG stuff!! Her recital was last weekend at the Sanger Theater and she did an amazing job!! I was sooooo very nervous when it came time for her to do her acero/tumbling routine because of all the routines, this is the one she had worked the hardest at, especially since she would be doing her 1 handed cartwheel first, leading 2 other girls as a sequence. When the time came, as silly as it sounds, I was so nervous, I almost couldn't watch. Her dance was the 2nd to last one and while I was backstage for the last time (I spend most of the recital backstage changing her...lol) I told her that I was so proud of her no matter what because of how hard she had worked this season.....without hesitation in true Kamden Eady form, she looked at me with a huge smile and said "I got this Mom, please go sit down and watch me!" I had tears in my eyes as I went back to my seat and I sat on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding the entire dance, then just as I had hoped, Kam did it, she nailed it! I am so proud of her and cannot wait to see what next season holds for her as she does what she really loves to do!!

Well my husband FINALLY caved in and bought me the camera I have been begging for, for over a year!!! To my surprise, he totally surprised me and got me the Nikon D3100 Camera!! I am still learning how to use it, but I am loving the pictures it takes!! Its so nice to have a good camera that takes these kinda shots!! I am hoping to get more familiar with it so I can "expand" my talent...lol!! Anyhow, expect to see lots of new RANDOM pictures on here for a while!!

Well it happened....I turned 30....YIKES!! I must say this was way hard for me! I was NOT looking forward to the big 3-0! I know it sounds a little silly, but for some reason the thought of it depressed me beyond words! I pretty much mopped around the entire week leading up to my birthday, pretty much feeling sorry for myself....ummm I have no idea why?? Friday came and Terry decides he wants to celebrate my birthday "early" (my actual bday was on Sunday) and I reluctantly agreed to go to a nice dinner at one of my favorite restaurant, The Wash House. After a nice dinner and a bottle of wine later, I was feeling pretty dang good! Terry told me he needed to stop by a "special place" to pick up my cake for our small family celebration on Sunday and he didnt want me to know where it was so he needed to blind fold me until we got there because he wanted it to be a surprise.....did I mention I just drank 3/4's a bottle of wine...I was game for whatever...lol.....Anyhow he blind folds me and drives me to a place and when he takes off my blind fold I am SURPRISED/SHOCKED/STUNNED by 75 of my friends and family!!! I was in shock......I had absolutely NO idea that he had been planning me a surprise party! One of my close friends Andrea my Mom and him had been planning this HUGE bash for months and I was clueless!!! It was a great night with food, a great band (can we say the amazing Adam Hold Band) and drinks...LOTS and LOTS of drinks! I was so surprised by all my family and friends that came! From my 82 year old Grandma to Patty & Kevin driving up from Ft. Lauderdale it was an amazing night......definitely one for the record books....I think just about everyone that was there could agree....Thank God I am only turning 30 once because you cant really have too many nights like that and "live" to tell about it....lol!! Thank you honey for making me the NOW happiest 30 year old alive :)

Biloxi Break!!

After graduations, months of summer camp planning and countless hours of work, I decided that we needed a little break before our 1st annual summer camp begins at the rink. I wanted a little quick get-a-way where we could all just have fun and focus on FUN....that meant, no cooking or cleaning for ME! Just a few days of doing nothing! We decided to head to Biloxi (only 45 mins. away) and enjoy the Beau Riviage Hotel and Casino. We headed over Thursday evening and chowed down at the buffet. We called it a night around 10ish, then woke up early Friday am for a day at the pool. The kids and I hung out poolside for 5 hours while Terry had to go back to the rink to finish up our last school skate day of the year. I let Kam play "hookie" so we could enjoy some free time! The kids and I had the BEST time......we ordered drinks, ate lunch and just "played" with no worries all day!! It was one of those days were everything was about "As Good as it Gets!" We stayed again Friday night to enojoy 1 more night of having fun before heading home Saturday! I am hoping for many more of those days this summer!!

Hangout Fest!!

The 2nd annual Hangout fest was last weekend May 20-22nd and I must say it was AWESOME! We did not go last year,but our good friends, The Rowe's, went and invited us to come down on the last day of the event. The Hangout is one of our favorite restaurants on Orange Beach. Its right on the beach and they have great food, and a HUGE play area for the kids! Last year to help combat the oil spill, they hosted a "Hangout Fest" where lots of musicians came in and did concerts for the gulf coast. This year they did it again, but bigger and better. This year they sold out at 35,000 tickets! It wasn't really geared towards "families" but the last day kids got in free and they had a HUGE kids area with TONS of stuff to do for the kids and even a kids stage! We had a GREAT time and the kids had a blast! We are looking forward to doing it again next year....hopefully all 3 days!!

My crazy little Mad-Dog has graduated Pre-K 4!! He was so excited to graduate! He has had a wonderful K-4 year at Jubilee Baptist Church Mom's Day Out Program! He has learned so much and really grown as a kid this year. His teacher Mrs. Chasta is wonderful and we just love her! We are going to miss her so much! Maddox really loved his class and the school. I cannot believe my little man is going to start Kindergarten next year! He is so excited about it! Here are pictures from his special day!

My sweet little Angel has graduated Kindergarten!! It was a bittersweet day, knowing that she is no longer a "little" one. She had such an amazing kindergarten year, her teacher was every parent's dream teacher and Kamden did a great job learning and applying herself this year! Her school did a great job with everything and we could not be more pleased with the school and staff! I know that "kids will be kids," and I wanted for her to figure things out for herself this year and I am pretty sure she gained that independence that only the only way to get is to find it yourself! My sweet little Kamden is wrapping up Kindergarten and to finish off a great school year her school had their annual field day! This was more like a production day!! Her school spared NO expense at putting together the PERFECT field day! From the shirts to the food and music it was an all day affair that was awesome!! I sure wish they would of had field days like this when I was in school! The weather was perfect and the kids (and parents) all had a great time! I can say Kamden was completely exhausted after field day....mission accomplished!

Easter with The Eady's......well I can sum that up in one word....B-U-S-Y! I must say every year, each holiday gets better and better as the kids get older! The class parties get bigger and better, the Easter Egg dying gets more creative and The Easter Bunny's arrival is more anticipated! One of my favorite things about Easter is spending time with my family!! My Grandma Baisden always does a big Easter Egg Lunch and we all have the best time! The kids look forward to hunting the eggs and we look forward to the Adult "Beer" Hunt! I love the warm weather and the memories that Easter brings! Looking forward to a great Spring!

My sweet Maddox took his last Preschool Field Trip to 5 Rivers Delta in Spanish Fort. Its a really neat little place with lots of animals and interesting sights to see! Maddox and his class went and they had a blast. Bryant wanted to tag along and Maddox wanted him to come, so B got to be a "big boy" for the day and go with the 4 year old class! It was a lot of fun and everyone really enjoyed it! If you have never been, its FREE and a great time!

Well if there is one thing that you should know about Team Eady is that we WORK hard to PLAY hard!! In order to keep our marriage strong, Terry and I like to have "get-a-ways" OFTEN to keep our relationship "real!" The wonderful girls that I run with and I decided that we should do a cruise to unwind after a long winter. We all had the best time! We ate, we got a lot of sun and most of all, we had FUN!! Terry and I really enjoyed the alone time, but also had fun with the group! Terry and I went parasailing for the 1st time ever on Paradise Island in Cozumel, Mexico....it was great!! We went on the Carnival Ship out of Mobile and went to Cozumel...we have decided to make it an annual trip, so we are already looking forward to next year!!

Bryant Turns 3!!

My sweet little B-Baby Bryant turned 3 and it was very bittersweet for me!! 3 is such a funny age, not quite a "toddler"anymore, but still not quite big enough to do it all on their own! Bryant is such a sweet little boy and its so much fun to watch our "baby" grow and explore! We celebrated his 3rd birthday with a "Popcorn" theme b-day party at the rink! Everything had to do with "POPCORN" and it all turned out very cute! The best part was the "popcorn" cupcakes! He loves cotton candy, so we did cotton candy cupcakes for his class! The birthday party was just a small party with all his school friends on a Tuesday afternoon, afterschool! Over all it was a sweet party with lots of great friends! Happy Birthday Bryant!

March=Mardi Gras 2011

Ohh Mardi Gras how we love you!! Living on the Gulf Coast has many benefits....especially celebrating Mardi Gras!! This year Terry and I went to 3 balls and too many parades to count! If you have never experienced Mardi Gras, well then you don't know what your missing! Its so much fun.....fun for kids and adults! Terry and I and friends ran the Joe Cain 5K race on "Joe Cain" which is always a lot of FUN!! After this Mardi Gras season, I decided that I wanted to become a little more involved, so I decided to apply for the OOMM (Order of Mystic Magnolias)association. To my surprise I got voted IN and now I am a member of the OOMM organization!! I'm so excited to join this "secret society!" I know its going to be lots of fun to see how the whole production is put on!! Here are a few pictures of this years Mardi Gras Celebration! Kamden's school even had a parade that the kindergartens got to "throw" in!!

Disney Princess Half Marathon Take 2

Well we have traveled to Disney yet again for another Run Disney Race!! I ran this race last year and "liked" it! It was my 1st half marathon, so it was a bit of a challenge, but this year was sooo much more fun because a few of my running girls came and one of my very best friends since 5th grade, Lisa, came too! We had a great trip!! Lisa and I stopped at every single picture stop during the half marathon, so we finish in 2:55 minutes....I must say that my legs hurt worse after running it in that time then they did 3 weeks earlier after running the NOLA half in 2:02, but it was well worth it because we had a great time! The kids ran the Royal Family Fun Runs again this year and had a great time!! Kam and I dressed in matching Minnie Mouse coustumes, which was very cute! It was a bitter sweet trip because believe it or not we will NOT be returning back to Disney this year :( We have decided to go to Washington DC this October in lieu of Disney!! We are all very excited, but I am sure going to miss hanging with Mickey, but we will be back next year!!

Team Eady's 1st Beach Trip of 2011

I must say one of my favorite parts about warmer weather (cant really say "spring" since its still the middle of February...lol) is the 1st beach trip of the season! Its usually very highly anticipated! We wait for months for the weather to warm up just enough to slip our suits on and head out the door!! Growing up with the beach minutes away has spoiled me in many ways and mostly its just that feeling of digging your feet in the sand, sitting back in your lawn chair and soaking up the beautiful sun. For some people, going to the beach is not all that much fun but for me, it the best part about living on the gulf coast. The smell of the salt from the ocean just has a way of making everything thats wrong in life right...well if only it were that easy...lol but it does have a way of bringing a certain peace to any day! Well Team Eady was lucky enough to experience the beach a little EARLY this year with 75 degree temps Feb. 20th!! The Water was FREEZING but the sun was HOT so we enjoyed a day full of great food, great friends, warm weather. We flew kites, made sand castles and even buried each other all on what I would call "A Perfect Day!" It wasn't too hot and there was NO humidity....thats makes for an unusual day in the south, but the best part was that we were all together, healthy and happy!!

So we took the kids to their first "bowl" game with our favorite football friends, The Rowe's! It was the Go Daddy Bowl at Ladd Pebbles Stadium in Mobile, where the Jags games are held. We had a BLAST! We had endzone seats and it ended up being the BEST seats in the house! Every field goal came directly to us and the kids almost caught a ball! It was a little chilly, but nothing a few blankets couldn't warm up! The kids loved the atmosphere and so did we! Perfect for their 1st "bowl" game! We cant wait to go again next year!

Well my super sweet baby girl turned 6!! Its hard to believe that and I am not sure where the time has gone?? She is truly such a joy and has the kindest heart! She is such a sweet, kind spirit...even with 2 brothers!! We celebrated her 6th b-day at Paint n Pals! She wanted an "All Girls" party! They girls had a pre sketched canvas and they painted zebra purses! The whole party was zebra themed. We had a great time and Kamden really enjoyed celebrating with her sweet friends!

Well we decided to start the year off by taking the kids to Snow Mountain for Kam's Birthday! I must say it way over exceeded my expectations! The place was AWESOME!!! We had a BLAST! It was perfect for families with young children (or even tweens)! They had a snow maker and the kids got to play in the snow, build snowmen and tube! The whole park was wonderful and it was a great way to end holiday season! We will definitely add this trip as a new Eady Tradition!!! While we were in the ATL we also surprised Kamden with a trip to the American Girl Bistro!! She got to pick out her 1st ever American Girl Doll and we ate lunch at the Bistro! It was a fantastic girls time!! I cannot believe that she is 6!!

Well, what can I say, we managed to have an amazing Christmas again this year! Every year gets better and better and every year I become more and more thankful for the blessings that I have. This Christmas started off great at the rink and then just got better as the holiday season progressed! We had a "December to Remember" at The Eady house doing all of our favorite holiday traditions. 2 days before Christmas we celebrated at my Dad's house with my Dad's family and then Christmas eve we attended our candle light church service and then a great Christmas eve dinner at our house with Terry's family! We had an added bonus because Terry's sister, Patty and her husband Kevin came in town from Ft. Lauderdale to celebrate and spend the holidays with us. We were all so excited to celebrate and spend time together this year!! Christmas morning the kids woke up to a living room full of presents (we kinda went over budget this year...opps) but it was well worth it! After brunch at our house with my Mom, we went to my grandma's house and celebrated some more!! The kids had a blast and so did we! It was a great way to end 2010. 2010 was a good year for us and I know that 2011 will have even more thing in store for us..looking forward to NOT looking back!!

Well its that time of year again....one of my most stressful events of the year....FAMILY CHRISTMAS PICTURES!! I really do stress for DAYS before getting them done. Fall is in the air and November came and went. I have been having some problems loading my pictures on my blog, but I think I got all them figured out, so I am trying to play catch up! November was a FUN month...lots of great weather. We actually went to the fair at the end of Oct. but I forgot to add those pictures, so here they are! the kids loved the rides and the FOOD of course. We had birthday parties on the farm, we went to the zoo and we really enjoyed the Pensacola Arts festival this year!! We had a great Thanksgiving this year! Every year I am more and more thankful for the family God has blessed me with!! Lots to be thankful for!!

November 2, 2010

Well school is well under way and the kids are really enjoying this school year! Kamden has started kindergarten and she has the best teacher, Mrs. Ayers! Maddox is now is Pre-K 4 and we love Mrs. Chasta. Kamden had her last year and we are thrilled to have her again! Bryant is in Pre-K2 and has Mrs. Dawn! Maddox her a few years ago and we just love Mrs. Dawn too! They got their "Fall" school pictures made and they all turned out good. Its so hard to believe these babies are growing up so fast. We are enjoying every minute it though!

Our local University in Mobile got a football team last year! The University of South Alabama Jaguars!! Right now they are an independent team, but after next season there is talks they may go into the Sun Belt! They haven't really played any good teams yet, but they are UNDEFEATED! They usually beat most teams by 20 pts. at least! We went to 2 games last season with our good friends The Rowe's and we had a blast!! We tailgated 1st then went into the stadium for the games. The games are held at Ladd Pebbles Stadium until USA builds their own, so there is beer served at these games but its still very family friendly! The tickets are CHEAP so its also very affordable! We can't wait unil next season because we are buying season tickets and they kids are PUMPED!! GO JAGS!!

What a crazy time of year!! This Halloween was a lot of fun! Last year I made us all dress as a theme which was precious, but this year everyone seemed to have a mind of their own!! Kamden really wanted to be Wendy from Peter Pan, but we couldn't find a costume, so she decided on Alice in the Wonderland! Maddox was dead set on Captain Hook and his costume turned out great! Mr. Bryant....HE HAD TO BE BUZZ!! He loved his Buzz costume and was so happy to be BUZZ Lightyear! We had our annual Halloween party at the rink and everyone had a great time! We trick or treated in our neighborhood with our friends the Hite's and the McCormicks! From class parties and field trips to halloween kid and adult parties, I must say it was a great Halloween!!

Team in Training trip to San Francisco!!

I dont think I can even begin to describe my Team in Training (TNT) expereince! It was such an inspirational time in my life! I met the most amazing people throughout my journey and became especially close with 3 ladies that I know I will remain friends with forever! For those of you that dont know about TNT and what it is...let me explain:
Team in Training is a non-profit organization that raises funds to help fund the research to stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.
I had to raise $3,500 to particiapate in the Nike Women's San Francisco full marathon on October 17, 2010. It was not easy to raise the funds in this economy, but I did it with the help of a lot of wonderful people! I trained with a team of 60 other Alabamians that were part of the TNT Gulf Coast Chapter. We got up VERY EARLY every Saturday to do our long runs and during the week I ran with my girls in Daphne (who also played a HUGE part in my training and encouragement)! Terry was by far my biggest supporter and helped me each step of the way. There were times I didn't think I could do it because of the training schedule and commitment! With having 3 kids and owning a business, training and fundraising can become very stressful. He really stepped up and did everything he could to help ensure my success!! We flew out to San Fran a few days before the marathon, TNT had several activities planned for us to attend! The first was the pre-race pasta party and inspiration dinner. I can honestly say I have NEVER been soooo INSPIRED in my life!! It was so humbling and gratifing to know that I had made a difference!! Then Terry and I did the Alctrez tour (which I LOVED) and got to enjoy the city! After the race (I'll explain that in a min.) TNT had a Post-race dinner party which was so much fun...we had a great time!! The next day Terry and I did a limo bus tour of a few winery's in Napa Valley and we had a great time and met some great Canadaians!! Overall our trip was an awesome experience! One that I will remember forever!! Now about the race....
During my TNT journey I met 3 girls; Kim, Mary Kendal and Kimee that I made a very close bond with. We decided to stay together through the marathon and thats exaclty what we did! We started the marathon holding hands and we crossed the finish line holding hands! Our time was not great, 5 hours 31 mins. but we had a great time even though it was HILLY, FREEZING and RAINING almost the entire 26.2 miles! It didn't matter...we had each other and we knew we could do it....all for a GREAT cause. These girls were so inspirational and we all really formed a very tight bond during our journey! Thanks girls ;)

Half Marathon FUN!

Well in preparation for training for my FULL marathon (26.2 miles) I decided to run the inagural Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon! Of course I had to enlist some of my biggest supporters to help! Terry ran, my great friend and her husband aTiffany and Brant, My brother in law Kevin (Patty was there for SUPPORT) and one of my oldest closest friends and her husband Lisa and Nic. It was a fun "adult only" Disney weekend! Terry and I had a blast at Epcot without any kids and the race was AWESOME! Disney does everything BIG and this race was no exception! The race started at 10 p.m. and I dressed as snow white! Terry and I got into corral A which was a big deal, that means we got to start 1st and not weave through all the walkers and joggers! I was really only hoping to do the race in 2:30 but much to my surprise, I finished the race in 2:15 a new Personal Record for me!! I was soooooo excited!! Terry has NEVER ran more than 6 miles in his life and he stayed with me the ENTIRE race and fisnished with me! It was a great feeling to run the race in under my estimated time and feel GREAT afterwards! The afterpart was a BLAST!! We stayed and ate and drank around Epcot (all the countries) until 4 a.m. then headed back to the hotel and crashed!! We will definitley be signing up again next year although Terry and Brant are now "retired runners!" They said they will be waiting at the finish line for us :)

Well I am starting to wonder where the STOP button is? Everyone told me that once I had a "school aged" child my days would get shorter and I would have a lot less time on my hands and boy have I figured that one out! It seems like I am doing everything I can just to keep my head above water! Between the rink, school, dance, homework, bath time, bedtime and everything in between the days are over before they even start! I must say I am really enjoying being back on a routine, I just wish it was not such a hectic routine! We have managed to fit in a trip to disney with the kids, Sept. 12-15th and that was nice and relaxing...kinda! At least we had no everyday distractions and we all got to spend full days together really enjoying each other! I think I have always taken my time with the kids for granted so much that now that it is so limited I am really appreciating every minute with them (well almost every minute)! Here are some pictures from what we were up to in September.....I cannot believe the month came and went sooooo fast!!

My little Miss Kamden has not only started Kindergarten but also dance! This year she has begged to take not only jazz and acero, but also ballet and tap! So that means 4 dances this year (which also means 4 recital costumes...lol) . She absolutely loves it! She has the same teacher as last year, Miss Brittney and we just love her! She takes dance on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights this season and with church on Wednesdays nights, we are one busy family!! Here are some pictures of her "posing" in her new ballerina outfit!!

The crazy Eady boys started preschool today! They were very excited and they got awesome teachers this year, so I was excited too!! Maddox was a little lost without Kamden being there, but he did pretty good! Both of their teachers gave them great reports today, so I am hoping this will be the sign of another great year in Preschool! Here are some pictures of their first day! So the time has come that I am officially the MOM of a school age child!! My sweet Kamden started Kindergarten at Daphne East Elementary School. Its a public K-6th grade school about 5 miles from our house! They have to wear uniforms everyday and I think thats her favorite part...lol The 1st day of school was a great day and she looked precious! I have never seen a child so excited about starting school! She got a fabulous teacher named Mrs. Ayers and we are looking forward to a great school year! Our little Mad-Dog turned 4 on August 14th! To celebrate his big day we had his bday party at The Exploreum in Mobile! They are hosting the Reptile Planet Exhibit for the next few months so I thought it would be a perfect place to have his 4th bday and boy was I RIGHT! They did everything....they even provided the cake! I had to do NOTHING....it was amazing!! The kids got to play, explore and learn about certain reptiles! They even got some hands on experience and got to touch several of the reptiles. Maddox had a great time and I think everyone including all the adults did too! That night we took the kids to hibachi and ate a special bday dinner! Team Eady had a great day celebrating!!

For the past 2 years now, I have been going to a place in Daphne called paint and pals. Its a very cute little art studio that have canvas's sketched with your choice of theme and you get to sit back paint and relax with a glass of wine! It is so much FUN! The now offer kids paintings as well and Kamden has really taken a liking to it! She has been about 5 times and gets better every time! This past weekend she was invited to a birthday party at paint and pals that was a peace themed party! Here is what she did......I will post some of her other work later!!

Cruise Ship FUN!

Well Terry and I had a busy summer and we are expecting and even BUSIER fall and winter at the rink so we decided kinda last minute to go and take a cruise with our good friends The Jagels! We left from Port Canveral in south FL on the Carnival cruise ship "The Sensation" and went on a 5 day 4 night cruise to the Bahamas. We had an absolutely amazing time!! The weather was great and the ship was FUN! We got lots of sun and drinks :) Our ports of call were Freeport and Nassau. We got to spend the night in Nassau, so we spent a lot of time at Atlantis! It was so much fun, but I'm not sure I would want to "vacation" there. The pools closed at 6 p.m. every night, so unless you wanted to gamble, you were pretty much stuck on the island! The food in Bahamas was great and boy did we EAT!! Here are some of the picutures from our trip! I must say I love to cruise and I think its one of the best ways to vacation! Next time we are thinking of bringing the kids on a cruise....stay tuned for that...lol

Well July went as fast as it came! It was a super busy month at the Eady house!! We had LOTS going on in town, so we pretty much worked and stayed busy in Daphne! Due to the oil spill, we didn't get to spend as much time at the beach as we usually do :( however, we did have a lot of fun at Hot Wheels! The kids went to work with us just about every session and did really good! Instead of breaking the blog up by each thing we did in July, I am just posting a few pictures from the things we did! Kam has now started to take an interest in running and at 5 years old is training for her1st 5K! My running is going really good, just hoping to meet my fundraising goal soon for team in training! The rest of the pictures are from the 4th of July, our 80's skate fundraiser, the Mobile Bay Bears Game, Vacation Bible School, Our Disco Inferno Party at the rink and our overnight Hotel Stay in Biloxi! Now you can see why I didn't have much time to update the blog in July...lol...enjoy!

Team Eady Tennessee Trip Twenty-Ten!

We went to visit our family in Tenneesee last week and I must say it was one of the best vacations we have ever had!! We all had a great time and cannot wait to go back! My Mom's brother and sister both live in Maryville, TN, right outside of Knoxville, so for the past 2 summers we have gone up there for a summer trip. This year we stayed in Pigeon Forge, about 35 mins. away from Maryville. We had a great time! We visited Gaitlinburg every day and mostly hung out at Ober Gaitlinburg. My Aunt Linda took me there as a kid and I always knew when I had a family I wanted to take them there, so this is our 3 summer going and it gets better every year as the kids get older!! We had a nice family dinner at Calhoun's (Terry's favorite TN restaurant) and it was great to all be together, even though dinner with my family always seems to be chaos...lol! It was a short trip just Sun-Late Wed. night but a well needed trip! I miss them all so much already and cannot wait to go back and visit....

We had a wonderful Father's Day! We got Terry a Throw back Dolphins Dan Marino Jersey...just what he has always wanted!! The kids (with my assistant) also made him a footprints card, that I think he really liked! We then went and visited all our dad's and finished off by a great dinner at LuLu's (Jimmy Buffet's sisters restaurant) in Gulf Shores! Over all we had a fantastic day and I think Terry really enjoyed everything. I have to say the kids are very lucky to have such an awesome dad...he is one in a zillion thats for sure!! Well its official the OIL is here!! Very sad but true! We had just gotten word that the inevidiable had happen and oil was in Gulf Shores. We thought we would take the kids down to see it and eat lunch at our favorite restaurant on the beach...The Hangout! The Oil was not as bad as we had thought, but still a mess. Luckily the oil was not in the water too bad, so we were able to get in for a minute and cool off, but I since heard we should not have been in the water at all due to some cancer causing cartigian. Anyhow we did our part and supported our local restaurants and had a good team Eady day! Unlike reports, we did see TONS of people down there cleaning up...tons! The beaches are still open so PLEASE come and visit!!

Kamden's Dance Rehearsal/Recital Pictures!

Well little Miss Kamden had her 2nd dance recital and I must say this year was a HUGE improvement from the last one she did when she was 3! It was at the Mobile, AL Sanger Theater. The recital was precious, "Remember my Name" was the theme and they did a fabulous job of making things run smoothly and fast! I was soooo excited because Kamden had a big audience...Me, Terry, My Mom, My Dad, Donna, Terry's Mom and Dad, Kylie, Taylor and Peyton...we took up almost an entire row! Kam was very excited to have so many people come watch her as well! She was in the Kindergarten (5 year) Jazz and Acero class. She was the youngest one in her class because she was supposed to be in the preschool class, but they allowed her to be in the kindergarten class. She absolutely loved the class and her teacher, Miss Brittany. Her dances were to Hannah Montana's "Party in the USA" and "The Flintstones" Unfortunately we were not allowed to video tape the recital, but we were able to video tape the rehearsal, so I have rehearsal video below. I have lots of pictures of her in her dance costumes, which were precious! Now she wants to sign up for Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Acero...lol...I told her we would see! She loved being on stage, so I am hoping she will stick with it and enjoy dancing even more as she gets older! Enjoy!

Well we were at it again....our favorite place on Earth...Disney! However this trip was a little different! Terry totally planned the entire trip (he never plans them...not his favorite vacation spot, but he's always a trooper). He woke us up early Sunday morning and already had most everything packed.....he told us we were going on a little mini vacation (we worked 80 hours last week and had 486 kids at our all night skate...we needed something)....I immediately thought NOLA...fast fun and close to home...however he had other plans. I HATE surprises, so I was begging him to tell me....finally he did as we pulled out of the driveway, but the kids had NO clue! They watch movies the entire 6.5 hour drive down and when we arrived...well you can see the video on the bottom for their reaction! Overall it was an awesome trip, but HOT! Not used to going in the heat, since we usually opt for fall and winter weather when we go! It gets easier every time now that we only have 1 in a stroller and diapers! Here are some pictures from our trip...we will not be going back until Oct...so I'm going to have withdrawls.....

Well we are officially the parents of a school age kid! Our sweet Kamden graduated from Preschool last night!! She was soooo excited! Her school did a very sweet graduation ceremony, followed by a slide show of the kids. We were asked to give 5 pictures of our kids from birth to now so that they could include them in the slideshow...it tuned out precious! The kids got a kick out of seeing each other as babies and everyone really enjoyed it! For some reason my camera did not take very good pictures with the lighting in the building, so here a few pictures from the night! Look out Kindergarten because here we come!!

Well its the last week of school for the Eady kids and this week the school is having a "fun" week. Everyday has been a new theme and Wednesday was Princess/Super Hero day! Maddox wanted to wear his spiderman costume (thanks Kindra ;) Bryant has outgrown his Jack Jack costume, so he got to wear Maddox's Dash costume and Kamden well, she's outgrown the princess stage, so we threw together something flashy! They all looked so cute and were so excited to participate!! Here are some pictures of them posing!

We have had so much fun with our friends the Taylors, Dale, Lana and Harley the past few weeks! Dinner on the beach at Crabs, swimming at their beautiful house in Gulf Breeze and an awesome boat ride on their boat! Lana is a great photographer and took some amazing candids of us on their boat. It was a perfect day and we ran right in the middle of about 100 dolphins swimming and playing. The kids loved seeing the dolphins and they were coming right up to the boat! Hope everyone is enjoying their spring, now its starting to get HOT!!

I would lie if I said I didn't feel guilty about having to work; however, I do have the luxery to bring them to work with me most of the time. I am not sure if its a luxery or curse really? Since buying the Daphne rink in 2008, the kids have gotten to spend a lot more time in a skating rink and truly enjoying the experience of being a rink owners kid! So far they seem to love it. The skate %90 of the time they are there and eat the other %10. They are pretty well behaved up there considering they are there sooooo much! Kamden and Maddox are excellent skaters (here come the bragging parent in me) and Bryant is learning! I think having them there really helps promote our business and capatialize on the "family entertainment" slogan we to promote! Well you know if its Disney....The Eady's are There!! Disney on Ice was came to pensacola and we took the kids to go see it! I was very surprised at how good the show was. I was a little nervous to see how Bryant would do, being that right now he hates to sit still and be quite, but he did really good! He loved the show and clapped the entire time. Of course Kam and Mad loved it! Maddox was very impressed with the Incredible's when they came out and he loved the Toy Story part. Kam liked the princesses and Minnie Mouse! It was a fun family night!!

My Maddox had his 1st big boy sleepover! His best buddy Tyler came to stay with us and they were all so excited! It was spring break, so he stayed over on a Monday and we had a big night planned! We went to the Explorium and saw the Dino exhibit, then we went to a new play place that opened in Mobile, Pete's Party Palace and had dinner and FUN! We ended the night going to Marble Slab and eating icecream! Needless to say they were all exhausted by the end of the night! Tyler is an only child, so he really enjoyed playing with all 3 kids...I think he thought we were a circus...lol! They all did great and had a fun time and the next day, they were all sad when Tyler had to go home! Here are some pictures from Maddox's 1st sleepover!

1st Beach Day 2010

Yay' after what seems like FOREVER, it FINALLY beach season!! Terry and I went to the beach earlier in the week (kids free) and got WAY to much sun, so we decided to make our 1st family beach visit short and FUN! We got up early (our early is 9 a.m.) and headed down to Gulf Shores. We decided to be brave and ONLY pack our beach bag, 2 lawn chairs and toys. Usually it takes at least 30 mis. to pack the car full of blankets, umbrella's and coolers, but since we were only gonna stay for 2 hours or so we decided try and pack light. We got there about 9:45 am and it was beautiful and not too crowded for a Sunday! We got out of the car and we all walked down there and found our spot in just 1 trip! For some of you this may not be a big deal, BUT for us this was HUGE....WE HAVE FINALLY MADE IT! For the past 5 summers we have had to load, unload and DRAG so much stuff to the beach it almost made the trips not worth it....not to mention it takes 30 mins to set everything up then the kids usually go running around EVERY where but in front of us, so it makes for a miserable time! However, this time we made 1 trip down to the water, the kids stayed in played RIGHT in front of us and when it was time to go, we grabbed our stuff and walked to the car!! It was amazing....lol! We had the best time.....it was so nice to sit and watch them play and just enjoy the morning! Here are some pictures from our 1st trip this summer...there will be plenty more to come!!

Easter 2010 with the Eady's was a great fun filled time! The kids each had school parties and then our church had their annual Easter Egg hunt! The Easter bunny was good to the kids and they got each got new bathing suits and candy!! We spent Easter morning at church, followed by Easter lunch at my Grandma's house in Pensacola with the family! The weather has been absolutely beautiful and all is well with us!! This is our busy time of year with school about to end and all the schools wanting to get in their last fundraisers and end of the year parties!
